Since the onset of the war, MEMO management has made multiple trips to Ukraine, engaging with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector to explore ways we can assist in enhancing the country’s medical infrastructure. This includes upgrading operating room complexes, diagnostic departments, and sterilization services.

At the Rebuild Healthcare Ukraine conference in Warsaw this year, we connected with hospital representatives and are now actively working to deliver tailored solutions. For example, we are developing a modular operating complex for a rehabilitation hospital and providing radiology solutions with modules for another facility. Additionally, we’re setting up mobile PET/CT services and delivering mobile operating theaters to a hospital in eastern Ukraine. Some of these projects may receive financial support from the Dutch government.

MEMO Medical Modalities specializes in providing high-quality, affordable facility solutions, with a focus on operating theaters and diagnostic departments, including BSL3 laboratories and sterilization stations. We often collaborate with our extensive network of top-tier Dutch and international partners to offer innovative medical equipment and creative technical systems. All our solutions are sustainable and always adhere to—or exceed—local regulations. For quicker, more cost-effective deliveries, we also offer clients second-hand equipment (3-5 years old), whether standalone or integrated into second-hand modules or trailers.

Our core expertise lies in developing modular operating room complexes for hospitals. These are future-proof and designed to comply with the latest Ukrainian technical guidelines. Across Europe, our modular solutions provide hospitals with additional operating theaters that are adaptable to regulatory changes and durable enough to last over 50 years. We also build temporary hospital extensions, either on greenfield sites or on elevated structures, directly connected to existing operating theater complexes to meet increased demand. Once the demand decreases, these extensions can be removed and relocated to another hospital or clinic, customized to the needs of the new client. Our products are sustainable not only due to their robust quality but also because of their flexible, reusable design.

Our state-of-the-art mobile operating theaters can be deployed close to the front lines in protected locations. These theaters and their adjacent spaces meet the highest standards required by EU countries. We also offer mobile units for primary care services, including mother and child care, general practitioner services, ultrasound, and X-ray equipment.

In addition, we supply operating room complexes built from ISO containers that can be linked together to form a fully functional medical complex, complete with technical facilities and equipment. These operating theaters can be equipped with advanced filtration systems that create an ultra-clean environment and can be placed underground to protect against the dangers of war.
